To Blackswamp girl-- Yes, wouldn't this be great? I once bought a bag of live ladybugs, and most of them flew away immediately! A few did hang around and eat aphids, which was gratifying...thanks for posting!---TCG
Once my sister got an eggcase of preying mantises for her rooftop garden. And wouldn't you know it, two of them lasted the summer. I was even blessed with the sight of the Big One eating a poor insect... backwards. Still alive as it got munched. Learned a lesson or two that day, I did.
