Clueless Doesn't Cover the Half of It
I double-posted the boxwood ball by mistake, then deleted both of them instead of one of them, now they are both back on via Firefox, but not on AOL. GRRRRRR I have very thin, fine hair, or I'd be pulling it out now over these technical difficulties that an infant could solve but I can't!

Christmas Greenery
I've of two minds about festooning the house with holiday [oops--Christmas greenery, no war here] pine roping. In my mind's eye, nothing could look more festive and welcoming than a doorway and stoop railings wrapped in scented greens. In reality, the pine roping, especially the white pine roping, is wired together such that the joins are visable, and the next frond of pine doesn't seem to cover the join. So the effect isn't good. I'm a fan of princess pine, but I haven't seen any around the neighborhood this year. Nobody does holly, and does anyone do boxwood except Martha S. ? Boxwood is the alltime best, but that can't be made into roping. You must surround the railing or doorway with chicken wire, and stuff the little branches on one by one. No can do! So, I've solved the problem: my main doorway has a boxwood kissing ball hung above it. My lower door has a pine wreath, but I have a boxwood wreath inside the house so I can enjoy it hourly. I haven't taken my annual walkabout to see everybody's tree and exterior decorations, now if I could just get the puppy to walk farther than 3 blocks without freaking out! Think I'll have to leave him home, and explore on my own. I need to do this because there is no Christmas tree in the house this year, since the pup would destroy it. I have to get my Christmas fix elsewhere...if I can figure how to do it, I'm gonna try posting a doorway photo...
