Schpring!

building a hellebore and sweet pea thingy on a pansy ring:  My cat later destroyed it

I think these are parrot tulips...I'll know in a day or two!

have completely forgotten what these are!

Clueless grasps pen before trowel...

People are spotting crocus right and left, but nothing around my neighborhood...still, I know
spring is coming, due to above reasons...one must make do!

Seed Starting is Starting

This is my lustful find at Renishaw Hall's garden last summer...
it's Arctotis Grandis.  It's a daisy with blue-grey foliage,
and  a heartbreaking blue center.  Looks like an osteospermum,
but I guess it isn't...but golly, I'm gonna try and
grow this---wish me luck!

We haven't had much winter, and even very little frostiness, but here's a silvery Piet Oudolf creation in Stoke-On-Trent, sans kind permish of images on the google...

Just a little vase of peonies to tide us over......
